I am Belinda Seppings, co-founder of MÍRAME Fine Art, in partnership with my colleague Jonathan Baldock. Together, we’ve pioneered a platform dedicated to championing the country’s most important and influential artists while recognising and nurturing its emerging talent.
Following my studies at Christie’s Education and extensive experience at London’s renowned White Cube art gallery, I now call Costa Rica my seasonal home, residing with Jonathan in Playas del Coco, Guanacaste. Immersing myself in this country’s artist communities has brought immense joy, yet I was disheartened to discover the lack of visibility and support the artists faced. Hence, the inception of MÍRAME Fine Art, a platform to promote their artwork while providing education and inspiration to not only visitors and residents of Costa Rica, but to anyone in the world.
Jonathan, with a decade of experience at LinkedIn and a background working in information technology recruitment, brings a wealth of knowledge to MÍRAME Fine Art. His extensive knowledge of innovative technology solutions, paired with his expertise in sales and marketing, enhances the sophistication of our platform’s framework.
We carefully select each artist, spend time visiting their studios, and learn the intricacies of their practice. This journey has been incredibly enriching, and we are eager to extend the experience to you.
