As we approach the close of 2024, MÍRAME Fine Art is proud to celebrate our first months with a moment of reflection, gratitude, and a sense of excitement for what lies ahead. This week, we find ourselves at Andaz Art Week—an extraordinary and exciting gathering of creativity, conversation, and community set against the backdrop of Costa Rica's Papagayo Peninsula.

Taking place in the heart of Guanacaste on the Papagayo Peninsula, Andaz Art Week brings together artists, collectors, and travellers in a studio space that has been transformed into a temporary gallery, allowing contemporary art to engage directly with the natural world. The ocean views, the changing light of day, and the warmth of Costa Rica offer visitors a new way of engaging with contemporary art.

At the heart of this experience are the artists themselves. From Carlos Fernández to Daniela Marten Rothe and Alonso Durán, their works reinterpret traditions, challenge perspectives, and explore the evolving identities of Costa Rica and beyond. Each day of the event has been carefully considered, with themes that guide visitors through the ways artists are reimagining nature, reflecting on human connection, and exploring perception. From intimate workshops and artist talks to art that engages with global themes and issues, Andaz Art Week has given us the chance to share artist stories, meet new faces from all around the world, and celebrate the transformative role of contemporary art.

This week also feels personal for us at MÍRAME. Launching the gallery initiative in 2024 has been an inspiring and humbling journey—one we could not have done without the support of our artists, collectors, and community. We are passionate about supporting Costa Rica's contemporary artists and are thrilled with the progress made during the past months.

For those of you who have joined us at the Papagayo Peninsula for the Andaz Art Week, we thank you for being part of this celebratory event. For those who have supported us in spirit throughout the year, we carry your encouragement with us.
