Oscar Ruiz-Schmidt, the Costa Rican fashion designer and artist behind the label Obra Gris, is a passionate advocate for sustainability and environmental consciousness. With a background in fashion and graphic design, he weaves his vision into the fabric of his designs.

“Sargassum”, a captivating recycled plastic light installation, draws inspiration from the ocean-dwelling algae of the same name. Crafted from recycled plastic, wood, and cotton, this innovative creation mimics the ethereal beauty of algae, illuminating your home with a unique blend of nature and inventive design.
