Description

From Aimée Joaristi’s “Forma Del Tiempo’ series.

Introducing The Eye painting from Joaristi’s Forma Del Tiempo series. Vibrant hues of yellow and pink swirl around an eye in the heart of the composition, seemingly conscious of its observer.

Joaristi’s showcases her skill of balancing colour and form, as she navigates the complexities of abstraction with precision. Through her use of bold strokes and subtle textures, she creates a striking visual dialogue.

Joaristi’s work is a medium for intuitive self-exploration, blending her cultural heritage with personal reflections. Born in Havana, but raised in Spain and Costa Rica, her work is inspired by her Cuban roots. Her paintings and drawings, such as The Eye painting, are characterised by forceful expressionism, offering glimpses into her emotional response to suffering, pain, war and human relationships.
